ORGANIC FARMING

1 Adoption of organic farming
  • Unit cost: Rs.20000/ha
  • 50% of cost limited to Rs. 10000/ha.
  • Maximum area of 4 ha/beneficiary
  • The subsidy is given in 3 splits, first year Rs.4000, second and third year Rs.3000/- is allotted.
  • The programme to be linked with certification
  • Certification should be done through the agency accredited by APEDA
2 Organic certification
  • For cluster of 50 ha
  • Rs.5 lakh for a cluster. ths subsidy is allotted in 3 splits, which include first year Rs.1.50 lakh, second year Rs.1.50 lakh and in third year Rs.2.00 lakh.
  • Project based program linked with certification.
  • Certification should be done through the agency accredited by APEDA
3 Vermi compost unit/ Organic input production
  • Unit cost: Rs.60000/unit
  • For permanent structure 50% of cost.
  • Structure size should be 30' x 8' x 2.5'
  • Project based program linked with certification.
  • Additional subsidy given by state government to general category 15% and 25% for reserved category.
  • Unit cost: Rs.10000/unit
  • For HDPE vermi bed 50% of cost.
  • Vermin bed size should be 12' x 4' x 2' & IS should be 15907:2010
4 Certification for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), including infrastructure
  • Unit cost: Rs.10000/ha
  • 50% of cost for maximum area of 4 ha/beneficiary
  • Certification should be done through the agency accredited by APEDA
  • Additional subsidy given by state government to general category 15% and 25% for reserved category.
