The
Gujarat State Agricultural Marketing Board
was established in 1985 under the provisions
contained in section 34 and 34 A (1) of
the Gujarat Agricultural Produce Market
Act, 1963.
The
Board consists of 19 members as below: -
Chairman
- to be nominated by State Government
Nine
Agriculturist members.
Three
Trader Members to be elected by Market Committees
Of the State.
The
Secretary of Agriculture Department
Secretary
of Cooperation Department
Registrar
of Cooperative Societies.
The
Director of Agricultural Marketing.
The
Agricultural Marketing Adviser- GOI, Faridabad
The
Managing Director - Ex-Officio is other
nominated Member on the Board.
